3. Serviceregionsettingsupdateprocedures
Write the Service Region setting le to this unit from the USB memory.
3.1. ItemstoBePrepared
Windows PC
USB format : Prepare a USB memory formatted in FAT16 or FAT32.
Note:
Do not run the USB memory through a hub.
Do not connect a computer to the USB port of this unit using a USB cable.
Do not use an extension cable when connecting the USB unit.
3.2. Creatingaserviceregionsettingle
(1) On the PC, click [Start button] – [Accessories] – [notepad] to start the notepad application.
(2) Enter 'TEXT'.
(3) Click the "File" and Click the "SaveAs..." button.
(4) Input File name and Click Save button.
Note : Typing the le name surrounded by double quotes.(No need le extension)

(5) Copy the created le to the USB memory.
3.3. InserttheUSBmemoryintheUSBport
(1) Insert the USB ash memory that contains the le created in the steps above to the USB slot on the back panel of this
unit.
(2) Check that the LED on the front panel of this unit is ashing, and then remove the USB ash memory.
The service region settings are complete.
