e Recording starts in the (forward) direction. However, if the tape is not removed and inserted before setting the timer, recording starts in
the direction indicated by the LED (green).
e Check that the tape direction and the reverse mode are set as you want.
e Nothing is recorded on the leader tape at the beginning of the tape, so to avoid missing the beginning, set the starting time to a minute
or so before the program is scheduled to start.
Checking the Timer Settings
To check the timer settings, turn the receiver's POWER button on, press the TIMER button, then press the SET button. The timer start
mode, reception band, preset number, and on and off times are displayed in order each time the SET button is pressed.
