If your deSoutter Medical Pet Care Product handpiece cuts out during use, it could be due to several reasons. The handpiece temperature protection might have activated, in which case you should release the trigger and allow the handpiece to cool, ensure the recommended duty cycle is being followed and ensure the cutting accessory is sharp. Alternatively, the battery overload protection may have activated, so release the trigger (the protection will reset within 2 seconds), use a larger battery or charge the battery. Finally, handpiece stall protection may have activated, so release the trigger (the protection will reset within 2 seconds) and ensure the cutting accessory is sharp.
