Why does my DeVilbiss Air Power Company STEEL DRIVER Nail Gun tool run slow or lose power?
- JJohn HeathAug 11, 2025
Your DeVilbiss Air Power Company Nail Gun might run slowly or lose power due to several reasons. It could be that the tool isn't sufficiently lubricated, or there's inadequate airflow or pressure. A worn seal on the piston, a broken spring in the cylinder cap, or worn head valve seals could also be the cause. To resolve this, lubricate the tool, verify the air flow and pressure, replace the piston seal (NSK-010), replace the spring (NSK-009), or replace the head valve seals (NSK-009).
