MAINTENANCE
Your
power tool has been designed to operate over a long period of time with a
minimum of maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper tool care
and regularcleaning.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, turn tool off and
disconnect tool from power source before making any adjustments or removing/
installing attachments or accessories. Be sure the trigger switch is in the OFF position.
An accidental start-up can causeinjury.
Replacing the Blades (Fig. R1, R2)
The machine is equipped with a cutterhead that holds twoblades.
WARNING: Always replace the bladessimultaneously.
WARNING: Be aware the cutting blades shall be replaced in the described way only.
Never fit cutting blades other than the onesrecommended.
WARNING: Sharpedges.
WARNING: Wear gloves when replacing theblades.
WARNING: Prior to replacing the blades always unplug themachine.
Removing the Blades
1. Remove the fence and theguard.
2. Carefully rotate the cutterhead

until the first blade becomesvisible.
3. Loosen the bolts

using the spannersupplied.
4. Lift the blade assembly

out of the cutterhead. Use a pair of pliers ifnecessary.
5. Take the blade

6. Repeat as for the otherblade.
Fitting the Blades
1. Attach the blade

Adjusting the Blades (Fig. R3)

4. If adjustment is required, proceed as follows:
- Turn each adjusting screw

in or out as necessary until the blade tip coincides with

Re-sharpening the Blades
The blades can be re-sharpened at 42°.
WARNING: The blades can be re-sharpened max. 3 mm down from their original size. If
the blade size has decreased by more than 3 mm, the blades have to bereplaced.
Lubrication
Your power tool requires no additionallubrication.
Cleaning
WARNING: Blow dirt and dust out of the main housing with dry air as often as dirt is seen
collecting in and around the air vents. Wear approved eye protection and approved dust
mask when performing thisprocedure.
WARNING: Never use solvents or other harsh chemicals for cleaning the non-metallic
parts of the tool. These chemicals may weaken the materials used in these parts. Use a
cloth dampened only with water and mild soap. Never let any liquid get inside the tool;
never immerse any part of the tool into aliquid.
Before use, carefully check the cutter-head to determine that it will operate properly. Ensure
that resin or workpiece particles cannot lead to blockage of one of thefunctions.
Thicknessing mode: In case of workpiece fragments jammed between cutter-head and in-feed
roller, disconnect the machine from the power supply and remove the jammedparts.
Keep the ventilation slots clear and regularly clean the housing with a softcloth.
• Keep the tables clean and free from grease. Regularly apply some wax to thetables.
• Keep the machine free from dust andshavings.
• On a daily basis, check and clean the kickback and feedspindles.
Optional Accessories
WARNING: Since accessories, other than those offered by

with this product, use of such accessories with this tool could be hazardous. To reduce the
risk of injury, only
recommended accessories should be used with thisproduct.
These include spare cutting blades (DE7333).
Consult your dealer for further information on the appropriateaccessories.
