NOTE: Take note of the positions and locations of parts during
disassembly to make reassembly easier.
NOTE: Any service operations not included in this section should be
performed by a D
eWALT factory service center or a DeWALTauthorized
service center.
The following procedures must be followed when maintenance or ser-
vice is performed on the generator.

TEST GFCI
1. Start the generator. IMPORTANT: Engine must be running to test
GFCI.
2. Place the auto control idle switch (Y) in the OFF
position.
3. Push in the TEST button A on the receptacle. The
RESET button B will pop out. Power is now off at
the receptacle. If the RESET button does not pop
out, contact a D
eWALT factory service center or
a D
eWALT authorizedservice center. Do not run
generator until the problem can be corrected.
4. To restore power to receptacle, push the RESET
button in. If the RESET button pops out during operation, stop the
generator and check the generator and equipment for defects.
