1. Place engine switch in the OFF position.
2. Place the fuel valve lever on gas tank in the CLOSED position.
3. Keep generator level at all times to prevent fuel spillage. Fuel vapor
or spilled fuel may ignite.
WARNING: Contact with a hot engine or exhaust system can cause
serious burns or fire. Let the engine and muffler cool before transport-
ing the generator.

WARNING: Never store generator with fuel in the tank indoors or
in enclosed, poorly ventilated areas, where fumes can reach an open
flame, spark or pilot light as on a furnace, water heater, clothes dryer
or other gas appliances.

GENERATOR
1. Clean the generator as outlined under Maintenance.
2. Check that cooling air slots and openings on generator are open
and unobstructed.
BATTERY PACK
NOTE: Battery storage and carrying caps are
provided for use whenever the battery is out of the
tool or charger. Make sure storage and carrying
caps are in place when storing battery pack. See
Important Safety Instructions for Battery Pack.

