Before attempting any repairs, the following should be observed
- Check that guards function correctly, if not repair before running the product.
- Before turning product on for analysis carry out a visual check for loose/broken parts Including accessories,
blades, cutters etc.
- Never repair a product whilst the battery is plugged in
- Remove all accessories, blades, cutters etc.
- Release tension on parts before attempting to remove, for example Arm Springs.
- Ensure the work shop is clean and tidy.
- Check date code first
After repair
Check all adjustments
Run product to check that it functions correctly, including all features.
Before Repair
Consider the work area environment.
Do not expose the tool to rain.
Do not use the tool in damp or wet conditions.
Keep the work area well lit (250–300 Lux).
Do not use the tool where there is a risk of causing fire or explosion
