Important Technical Specifications

The manual includes a general torque specification table for various bolt sizes (inches and millimeters) and property classes (5.6, 8.8, 10.9), indicating minimum and maximum torque in pounds-feet and Newton-meters. For example:

  • M6 bolts (1.0 pitch):
    • Property Class 5.6: 3.6-5.8 lbs-ft (4.9-7.9 Nm)
    • Property Class 8.8: 5.8-9.4 lbs-ft (7.9-12.7 Nm)
    • Property Class 10.9: 7.2-10 lbs-ft (9.8-13.6 Nm)
  • M8 bolts (1.25 pitch):
    • Property Class 5.6: 7.2-14 lbs-ft (9.8-19 Nm)
    • Property Class 8.8: 17-22 lbs-ft (23-29.8 Nm)
    • Property Class 10.9: 20-26 lbs-ft (27.1-35.2 Nm)
  • M10 bolts (1.5 pitch):
    • Property Class 5.6: 20-25 lbs-ft (27.1-33.9 Nm)
    • Property Class 8.8: 34-40 lbs-ft (46.1-54.2 Nm)
    • Property Class 10.9: 38-46 lbs-ft (51.5-62.3 Nm)
  • M12 bolts (1.75 pitch):
    • Property Class 5.6: 28-34 lbs-ft (37.9-46.1 Nm)
    • Property Class 8.8: 51-59 lbs-ft (69.1-79.9 Nm)
    • Property Class 10.9: 57-66 lbs-ft (77.2-89.4 Nm)
  • M14 bolts (2.0 pitch):
    • Property Class 5.6: 49-56 lbs-ft (66.4-75.9 Nm)
    • Property Class 8.8: 81-93 lbs-ft (109.8-126 Nm)
    • Property Class 10.9: 96-109 lbs-ft (130.1-147.7 Nm)
  • M16 bolts (2.0 pitch):
    • Property Class 5.6: 67-77 lbs-ft (90.8-104.3 Nm)
    • Property Class 8.8: 116-130 lbs-ft (157.2-176.2 Nm)
    • Property Class 10.9: 129-145 lbs-ft (174.8-196.5 Nm)
  • M18 bolts (2.0 pitch):
    • Property Class 5.6: 88-100 lbs-ft (119.2-136 Nm)
    • Property Class 8.8: 150-168 lbs-ft (203.3-227.6 Nm)
    • Property Class 10.9: 175-194 lbs-ft (237.1-262.9 Nm)
  • M20 bolts (2.5 pitch):
    • Property Class 5.6: 108-130 lbs-ft (146.3-176.2 Nm)
    • Property Class 8.8: 186-205 lbs-ft (252-277.8 Nm)
    • Property Class 10.9: 213-249 lbs-ft (288.6-337.4 Nm)

For fine thread bolts, similar torque values are provided. It is important to note that these values apply to fasteners as received (dry or lubricated with normal engine oil) and not if special graphited or moly disulphide greases or other extreme pressure lubricants are used. For PLATED GRADE 8 bolts, the torque should be reduced by 15%. Thick nuts must be used with Grade 8 bolts.

Usage Features

The DFK Cab for the CF MOTO CFORCE 625 is designed to enhance the utility of the ATV by providing an enclosed cabin.

  • Wiper/Washer System: Controlled by a switch on the left handlebar. The first position activates the wiper, and the second position (with a spring) activates the washer.
  • Front Window Defrost System: Controlled by a switch near the wiper motor. It is strongly recommended to turn off the defrost system manually and press the switch to the "ZERO" position once the front window is defrosted. Simultaneous use of the window defrost and vehicle winch is not recommended.
  • Side Mirrors: Before every ride, the side mirrors must be adjusted to focus on the driver's critical view angles.

Maintenance Features

Proper maintenance is crucial for the longevity and performance of the DFK Cab.

  • Cleaning Polycarbonate Surfaces: Use soapy water solution or other subtle means.
  • Washing Dirt and Dust: Gently wash with a water stream and swipe only with wet or damp means in a top-to-bottom direction.
  • Cleaning Frequency: Recommended about once a month or according to the actual degree of pollution.
  • Prohibited Cleaning Agents: Do not use detergents that could scratch the surface plates (e.g., abrasives, harsh fabrics). Avoid solvents, alkaline detergents, or cleaners with ammonia (ammonium hydroxide).
  • Removing Impurities: Do not use razor blades or other sharp items to remove impurities from the surface.
  • Cleaning Conditions: Do not clean the cab when polycarbonate plates are heated by the sun.
  • Squeegee Use: Do not use a squeegee, as it could scratch the surface plates.
  • Water Pressure: Do not clean with water current strength greater than 50 bars (WAP). The manufacturer is not responsible for scratching the surface if these instructions are not followed.
  • Bolted Connections: All bolted connections of the cab must be checked and tightened by the user at regular intervals.
  • Heater Air Filter: The air filter of the heater should be checked regularly, depending on the dust environment in which the vehicle is operated.
