Heating Operating Guide
PLEASE READ THIS GUIDE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING YOUR
HEATING SYSTEM
This Dimplex home heating system has been specially selected by McCarthy &
Stone to ensure that you have a clean, energy efficient automatic heating system.
That is both responsive and simple to use.
The heaters constantly monitor the dwelling to minimize running cost and maximize
energy efficiency this allows the heaters to select the lowest tariff electricity
available. The wall switches should always be left in the on position to allow the
system to work correctly.
The heating system is designed to run in the Auto Mode setting as pre-set by the
installer.
The heating system has been pre-set to supply comfort heat between the hours of
8-10am & 4-9pm. Outside of these times your system automatically reverts to
Setback Mode.
In Comfort Mode the heating system reaches the desired temperature set
by you on the control on the top of the heaters.
In Setback Mode
the heating system will not function unless the room
temperature falls beyond an uneconomical point (It uses less energy to keep a
back ground temperature when the room is unoccupied than it does to allow
the dwelling to chill too much). Your heating system will automatically monitor
this for you and adjust, if necessary in the Setback Mode.
The Wall controller which operates your heating system is split into Zones; the
guide below indicates which zone applies to which room.
Zone 1 = Living room & Hall Zone 3 = Bedroom Two (if applicable)
Zone 2 = Bedroom One Zone 4 = (Spare – not in use)
