Dirt Devil DD2503 - Separator Maintenance; Cleaning the Separator; Refitting the Separator

14. Turn the dirt container lid anti-clockwise to remove.
15. Lift to remove the pre-motor lter out of dirt container.
16. Tap the lter against a bin to remove excess debris.
17. Wash pre-motor lter under running water (4 0°C Max) .
18. Leave to dry for 14 hours or until fully dry before placing back
in the machine.
CLEANING THE SEPARATOR
19. Turn the dirt container lid anti-clockwise to remove.
20. Lift to remove the pre-motor lter out of dirt container.
21. Using central grips lift to remove separator from dirt container.
22. Twist grips clockwise and remove cap from separator.
23. Tap the separator against a bin to remove any dirt of debris.
Note: For any stubborn dirt / debris remaining in the
separator, use a soft brush to remove.
REFITTING THE SEPARATOR
IMPORTANT: Incorrect tting of the separator will reduce
suction.
24. Replace the separator cap, twist clockwise to lock.
25. Replace separator into dirt container, make sure the rectangular
hole in the dirt container lines up with the rectangular hole on the
separator.
