This appliance contains a UV emitter. UV rays not only counteract mites and
bacteria. If persons, animals, or plants are subjected to UV radiation, they
might be injured/damaged.
X Do not stare at the light source. Do not check that the nozzle is emitting
UV radiation. Trust in our construction.
X Never point the nozzle at people, animals, or plants.
X Only turn the nozzle on once it is completely on the substrate to be treated.
Turn the nozzle off whilst it is still completely on the substrate to be treated.
X The batteries must be removed before cleaning or maintaining the appli-
ance.

Incorrect use can be dangerous:
X This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruc-
tion concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
X For reasons of safety we strongly recommend that even children aged from 8
years and above do not operate the device as they denitely cannot under-
stand all specic dangers arising from it.
X Comply with the operating instructions of the vacuum cleaner that you will
use together with the nozzle.
X The nozzle serves the sole purpose of removing small quantities of mites,
bacteria, skin cells, and fungal spores from mattresses and upholstery. The
appliance is no substitute for a sufcient level of hygiene, regular cleaning,
and airing.
