FX30 - MAINTENANCE 109
WATER PUMP
Belt
Check
Check belt every 10 hours for correct tension, damage or wear.
Replace worn belt.
Adjust
1. Turn off engine and remove
key.
2. Apply moderate thumb
pressure to belt between
pulleys. (shown)
3. Belt is properly tensioned
when deflection is about .125-
.25 in (3-6 mm).
4. If needed, loosen four bolts (1)
and turn adjustment screw (2) clockwise or counterclockwise
until correct tension is reached.
5. Tighten four bolts.

Replace belt every 2000 hours.
