Photoelectric Eyes
Clean photoelectric eyes (8) and reflective tape with glass
cleaner and clean cotton cloth daily. Use of other cleaners will
damage lens. Check photoelectric eyes daily. To check:
1. Start drilling unit engine, angle drill frame down, and move
carriage to back of frame. Turn ignition key back to on
position. Engine should not be running.
2. At this position, green and red LED lights on back of eyes
should be on.
3. If eye has toggle switch on back, check that it is in the LO
position.
Row Select Pin
Check that row select pin (3) is installed properly. Pin should be
pushed completely in and up against snap ring.
