EVERY 1,000 MILES
1. & 2. REAR SPRING SHACKLE-2 flttings each side. Semi-fluid Chassis
Lubricant.
3. & 4. REAR SPRING BOLT -1 fltting each side. Semi-fluid Chassis Lubricant.
5. UNIVERSAL JOINT -1 fitting. Semi-fluid Chassis Lubricant.
EVERY 15,000 MILES
6. & 7. REAR WHEEl BEARINGS-Remove plug and insert fltting. Inject Yl oz.
Short Fiber Wheel Bearing Grease . Re install plug. CAUTION: Do
not use high-pressure gun, nor excess lubricant.
8. REAR AXLE DIFFERENTIAL-(Capacity 3~ ph.) Drain, flush with
flushing oil and reflll with non-corrosive TRUCK DUTY Hypoid Lubricant
or non-corrosive type of Hypoid Lubricant satisfactory for field servic·
ing of both truck and passenger car hypoid rear axles.
