• Push button 2 and the pump starts filling the boiler, light 8 goes on. Filling is
automatically performed when required by the water level.
• When the pump stops, light 8 goes out and the heating phase begins, lasting approx. 9
minutes. The light 9 is blinking.
• When pilot light 9 remains on, the machine is ready for use.
• Insert the hose plug into the steam socket 14, ensuring that it is securely fitted.
• Press the steam button 16.1 on the handgrip and direct the steam jet towards the area
to be cleaned.
CAUTION
Before beginning steam-cleaning operations, drain the condensation left inside the steam
hose into a bucket or other suitable place.
Hot water / Detergent injection function :
To optimise the cleaning action of the steam, water or even detergent can be mixed with the
steam jet:
• Open the cap 12 and fill this tank with 5l of detergent (or of water).
• Start the machine as above.
• Operate the steam button on the handgrip and simultaneously keep the
water/detergent button pressed.
CAUTION
This machine has been designed for use with non-foaming and non-corrosive detergent. Use
of foaming and/or corrosive detergent could damage the machine! You are advised to use
only the detergent specified by the manufacturer.
Dust – liquid vacuum cleaning function :
• Connect the steam + suction hose to the steam socket 14 ensuring that it is securely
fitted.
• Turn on the main switch located behind the vacuum cleaner.
• Start the steam machine as indicated above.
• To use the steam, press lever 16.1 below the handgrip 16.3
• For suction, press the white button on the handgrip. Press once to switch on, and a
second time to switch off.
• To add hot water, keep the button 16.2 with water tap on the handgrip pressed.
CAUTION
This machine is not suitable for collecting dangerous dust!
Water refill :
When the water in the tank finishes, the machine emits an acoustic signal and the no water
warning light 7 comes on. After some minutes the steam outlet is blocked.
