Always use a backup wrench when connecting the gas supply line to the gas
inlet fitting.
➤ Have a leak test and a flame test performed by an authorized specialist after
professional installation.
Ensure you are issued with a certificate of inspection and hand this certificate to
the end user for safekeeping.
Instructions for the authorized specialist:
➤ Check all connections for gas leaks with soap and water.
➤ Do not use a naked flame for detecting leaks.
➤ Ignite the burner to ensure correct operation of gas valve, burner and ignition.
➤ If the device fails to operate correctly after all checks have been carried out, refer
to the authorized service provider in your area.
Conditions for the gas supply
➤ Ensure the following:
The gas supply system must incorporate a pressure regulator to maintain a
supply pressure of max. 13.5 inches water column, static (no load).
➤ Disconnect the refrigerator and its shut-off valve from the gas supply before test-
ing the gas supply system, if test pressures are higher than 0.5 psig.
➤ Isolate the refrigerator from the gas supply by closing its manual shut-off valve
before testing the gas supply system, if test pressures are lower than 0.5 psig.
