Always use a backup wrench when connecting the gas supply line to the gas
inlet fitting.
Have a leak test and a flame test performed by an authorized specialist after
professional installation.
Ensure you are issued with a certificate of inspection and hand this certificate to
the end user for safekeeping.
Instructions for the authorized specialist:
Check all connections for gas leaks with soap and water.
Do not use a naked flame for detecting leaks.
Ignite the burner to ensure correct operation of gas valve, burner and ignition.
If the device fails to operate correctly after all checks have been carried out, refer
to the authorized service provider in your area.
Conditions for the gas supply
Ensure the following:
The gas supply system must incorporate a pressure regulator to maintain a
supply pressure of max. 13.5 inches water column, static (no load).
Disconnect the refrigerator and its shut-off valve from the gas supply before test-
ing the gas supply system, if test pressures are higher than 0.5 psig.
Isolate the refrigerator from the gas supply by closing its manual shut-off valve
before testing the gas supply system, if test pressures are lower than 0.5 psig.
