➤ Blow out the burner pipe with compressed air through the slots in the burner
pipe (fig. n, page 15).
➤ Attach the burner cover.
✓ The burner cover is fixed in place when it audibly clicks into place.
➤ Attach the ventilation grill.
8.2 Maintenance

➤ Have the gas system and connected flues inspected before initial operation and
then every two years by an authorized professional to ensure they comply with
national safety requirements (in Europe, this is EN 1949).
➤ Clean the gas burner of pollution after prolonged exposure to gas, but at least
once a year (chapter “Cleaning the gas burner” on page 36).
When using LPG (tank or refillable bottles), the cleaning interval, depending on
the degree of pollution, is reduced to half yearly or quarterly.
Dirt in the gas burner becomes noticeable by poor ignition or deflagration.
✓ Keep a record of any maintenance performed in the vehicle.
WARNING!
Working on gas and electrical installations may only be performed by
qualified technicians.
NOTE
The manufacturer recommends cleaning the burner after a longer ser-
vice life, at least once a year (chapter “Cleaning the gas burner” on
page 36). If you need further assistance, contact customer service.
