7.7 Selecting the operating mode

➤ Activate the desired operating mode by pressing until the corresponding
LED lights up.
Operating in automatic mode

In automatic mode the refrigerator automatically selects the most economical
operating mode according to the following priority:
•AC power
•DC power
•Gas

CAUTION!
Observe the safety instructions in chapter “Safe operation” on page 19.
NOTE
•
If the vehicle’s ignition is switched off, the refrigerator will switch to
tank stop mode for safety reasons. This blocks gas operation for
15 minutes. After that, the refrigerator automatically switches back to
regular, automatic mode.
•
During tank stop mode, the LED flashes and the symbol lights
up.
•
Turn off the refrigerator or set it to a different operating mode, if
refueling lasts longer than 15 minutes.
NOTICE!
Observe the safety instructions in chapter “Safety when operating with
AC power” on page 20.
NOTE
When the energy supply is connected to AC mains, it is preferable to use
this energy source.
