USE
Attention: When using the appliance for the rst time there may be a slight smell and
smoke development coming from the baking plates. This is normal.
1. Make sure that the baking plates are clean. If necessary, wipe them clean with a
clean, damp cloth.
2. At the rst use, smear in the baking plates with a little vegetable oil, butter or
margarine.
3. Close the lid.
4. Plug in the sandwich maker. The orange light will go on and the appliance will
start to heat up immediately. Let the sandwich maker heat up until the green light
goes on. At that point, the appliance has reached the right temperature.
5. Open the lid and place the sandwich on the bottom plate.
TIP: To obtain a golden brown colour, you can smear some butter on the outside
of the sandwich.
6. Close the lid. Be careful, as there may escape steam from the sides of the
sandwich maker. Make sure that there are no body parts coming into contact with
