Apply engine oil to the entire face of the
tappets and slide them into the tappet
holes on the cylinder block.

Wet the cam bush inside diameter and
camshaft with oil, and carefully assemble
them while turning the camshaft.
Caution :
Be careful not to generate a damage to
camshaft and bush.
•
Check to see that the camshaft rotates
smoothly.
9.3.5. Crankshaft
•
Install the main bearing (refer to assemble
sequence : right figure) machined with
two holes in the cylinder block so that
the key is aligned with the key groove,
then apply oil to the bearing surface.
