1. From the Doro Connect & Care, open Contacts (available
through the menu key
if not visible on screen).
2. Tap the contact in the contact list to open their profile.

Getting started — Enable remote setup
In the helper's phone
1. Press the senior tab in
Doro Connect & Care.
2. Tap Remote setup.
3. Tap
Settings access request (only needed if Care service sub-
scription already exists).
In the Doro 8040
1. From the
Doro Connect & Care, open Notifications (available
through the menu key
if not visible on screen).
Accept or Decline the remote setup offer.
How to use Remote setup
From the helpers phone
1. Press the senior tab in
Doro Connect & Care.
2. Tap Remote setup to change settings on the Doro 8040 or Phone
status to see some phone information about the Doro 8040.
Note! Changing settings on the Doro 8040 through the remote setup
interface will in most cases take effect immediately, without the need for
any interaction from the Doro 8040 user.
How to activate Care service subscription
This can be done either from the Doro 8040 phone if the Doro 8040 user
will pay for the subscription, or from a helper's phone if the helper will
pay for the subscription.
From the helper's phone
1. From the
Doro Connect & Care, open the User's profile and fol-
low the on-screen instructions.
2. Tap Activate the Care services and follow the on-screen instructions.
