The LASER configuration may achieve two level of safety in order to be compliant with standard
ISO13849. One basic level “PLc ” and one higher safety level “PLd”.
To achieve a level PLd three conditions are required :
- The standard industrial interface board (ENM70867) must be replaced by a specific (ENM70867)
- Two (2) wires from the switch must be connected to this specific board ( instead only one on
standard version)
The level must be selected in the LASER application (available from software version LO5.7)
Note : When the customer orders this option, the cabinet will be delivered with the current
PLc board. A PLd board will be also delivered that must be mounted at installation.
technician should upgrade from PLc to PLd
by using Spare parts sheets provided in this
book (section Troubleshooting).
