Duty Application = Marking time / Time between two products. Unit = percentage (%).
MI recommends a maximum duty application < 80%.
Example :
Step 1 : Calculate the
Time between two products (ms) = 1/[Conveyor speed (m/ms) / Pitch (m)]
Time between two products (ms) = 1/[(0.00093 /0.098)] = 105 ms
Step2 : Calculate the Duty cycle = Marking time / Time between two products = 88/105
Duty application = 84%
