DELAY
This delay is the time the laser beam takes to effectively stop. This delay [1;2000µs] compensates the
shift in galvanometer movement when the end of a new vector is reached. The off delay must always
be greater than the on delay.
Laser off delay is too long = End of the vector is affected
(The laser is stopped too late after the last vector, after the
mirror speed has reduced)
Laser off delay is too short = End of the vector is not
printed
(The laser is stopped before the mirrors have reached the final
marking position)
POLYGON DELAY
The polygon delay compensates for the shift when the galvanometer changes direction during marking.
The delay [1;2000µs] is adjusted depending on the change in the angle of movement from the previous
vector.
Important note :
It is preferable to set the delays using the following rule:
Mark delay ≥ Laser off delay - Laser on delay
