NOTE: If an error occurs when attempting to run the application, the machine may not have all
the files necessary to run the program. In this case, you can run an installation program to
install the application. The install can be found in the folder called “Full Install” under the
current “Digi” folder.
4. Run the digiserve.exe application. You will see the window shown here.
5. If the device is not seen, click the [Refresh View] link in the “Other Tasks” section every couple of
seconds until the device appears in the list.
6. Once the Digi Device Discovery program identifies the device, you can choose to configure the device
to have a static IP address or to automatically obtain an address from the DHCP server.
7. With the Digi device selected, click the [Configure network settings] option in the [Device Tasks]
section of the program to configure the IP address.
NOTE: Because the OPW applications used to configure and manage the FSC require that a
specific IP address and port number be entered, OPW recommends configuring the FSC to a
static IP, or the DHCP server should be configured to always assign the same IP address to
the MAC Address shown.
