The manufacturer disclaims all liability for any damage due to an
improper use of this product.
This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external
timer or separate remote-control system.
Before plugging the appliance into the mains, check that the voltage
indicated on the appliance corresponds to the voltage of the household
installation.
Please avoid that the cable gets into contact with the cooking plate.
Do not use the appliance if the plug, the power cord or the appliance
itself is damaged, and if the appliance has been accidentally dropped
or shows other visible damage.
This appliance can be used by children from 8 years of age and
is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Children aged between 3 and 8 years should only turn the
appliance on or off under the supervision of an adult
responsible for them, and under no circumstances should they
adjust or clean the appliance.
This appliance must be connected to an earthed socket. Always ensure
that the plug is inserted correctly. Do not leave the
appliance unattended while it is plugged in.
Ensure that the route of the electrical cable is clear and safe from the
passage of people who may unintentionally cause damage to
themselves and goods.
This appliance must only be used for the purposes for which it was
designed and is not suited for use in restaurants and for industrial use.
Do not use outdoors. If the appliance is not used in accordance with
the instructions contained in this manual, the warranty becomes invalid
and the manufacturer declines all responsibility for any damage caused.
With the aim of avoiding dangerous situations, any work of repair that
the appliance may need, e.g., replacing a faulty mains cable, must only
be carried out by qualified personnel from an authorised Technical
Service Centre.
This appliance must in no way be used in the immediate area of
hotplates, ovens, gas heaters, water heaters.
The unit is only for domestic use. Only use the cooking plates in
enclosed spaces.
Never immerse the unit in water.
Do not plug nor unplug the power plug from the power socket or use
the appliance with wet hands, to avoid electric shock.
There are no reusable parts inside, for any malfunctions or doubts
always address to an authorised technician. The use of accessory
attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may
cause injuries.
During operation, the hotplate must be at least 50 cm away from
other objects or walls.
Do not work on the hotplate with metal objects that could remove the
non-stick layer.
During operation, but in general also when switched off, do not place
other objects on top of the hotplate.
The appliance may only be used on a firm, level, dry and non-flammable
surface. This is to prevent unwanted movements of the appliance and
surfaces that could catch fire if in prolonged contact with hot sources.
The power cable is deliberately short, to avoid the risk of it being
twisted or crushed as it runs. An extension cord may be used, but
bearing in mind the risks mentioned in the previous points.
