Supplement | Atlan A300, A350 ceiling-mounted versions and wall-mounted version 37
Wall-mounted version
Inadvertent movement of the service cart
Incorrect handling of the service cart can trap persons or objects. Personal injury or
property damage may result as a consequence.
When positioning the service cart, take care that your hands do not get into the
area between the device and the service cart.
Accessories
If an accessory is fitted to the device which projects below the lowest point of the
anesthesia workstation, the accessory may strike objects or persons when the
ceiling supply unit is lowered. Personal injury or property damage may result as a
consequence.
Only fit accessories that maintain a distance of at least 12 cm (4.7 in) from the
floor when the anesthesia workstation is lowered to its lowest point.
Load
The product labels attached to the shelves and the drawer indicate the permissible
maximum load.
If the maximum total weight for the wall mount is exceeded, the load can no longer
be supported. Personal injury or property damage may result as a consequence.
Observe the maximum total weight for the wall mount (refer to the technical
data).
In addition to the nominal weight and any other accessories (such as carrying
systems or monitors), these loads must be considered when calculating the total
weight.
Transport for service activities
There is an increased risk of tipping over once the device has been connected to
the service cart.
Preparation for transport and actual transport of the device on the service cart
may be carried out only if there is no patient in the immediate vicinity.
When the device is connected to the service cart, it must not be used as the
trolley version.
For transport, move all the fitted arms into the transport position. To do this,
swing the arms toward the center of the device and secure them with a strap.
The transport position is necessary for inclines greater than 5°.
Take particular care when moving the device, as it can tip over under certain
circumstances.
Docking and undocking the wall mount
There is an increased risk of tipping over once the device has been connected to
the service cart.
No patient may be in the immediate vicinity of the device during the docking or
undocking process.
When the device is docked to the wall mount, it can be detached from the trunnions.
Make sure that there are no objects in the area underneath the device when
lowering the unit. The device may hit the obstacle, be knocked off the mount and
fall down.
