CAUTION
Undetected worsening of the patient's condition
During high-frequency ventilation with Volume
Guarantee, the ventilator automatically compen-
sates for changes in lung mechanics. As a result,
a gradual worsening of patient condition may only
be detected after a delay.
Observe patient condition. Check ventilation pres-
sure regularly and set the alarm limits accordingly.
