    • Method 2 ("FACTORY" Setting for Mac/Windows): Connect to computer, open "FACTORY" file. Change number after DATE (YY-mm-dd, e.g., 2021-06-01) and Time (HH-mm-ss, e.g., 11:28:03). Click "File-Save" to save.

OTG Connection to Phone:

  • The device supports quick file transmission via OTG function. Turn off the device first.
  • Android Phone: Connect the original USB cable with the 2-in-1 OTG cable. Plug the original USB cable to the recorder, then plug the 2-in-1 OTG cable into your Android phone.
  • iPhone (iPhone 8/iOS 13 and above): Connect the original USB cable & OTG-for-iPhone cable to the device & phone. Find App "File" on phone. Click "Browse" to find recorder's disk [VOICE]. Open file folder "Voice" to play/download/delete recordings. (OTG-for-iPhone cable not included).
  • Ensure Android mobile phone supports OTG function and it is enabled. Make sure the white original USB cable is always connected to the recorder and the OTG cable port is connected to the phone.

Maintenance Features

  • Charging: Two ways to charge:
    • With computer: Connect directly via USB cable.
    • With charger: Plug into an adapter (suggest 500mA-1000mA or 5V).
    • Charging time is generally 2-3 hours. The indicator light is red when charging and turns blue when fully charged. Avoid charging for over 10 hours.
  • Connecting to Computer: Turn off the device first. Use the original white USB cable. Disconnect using "Safely Remove Hardware" (Windows) or "Eject" (Mac OS). Use the original USB data cable, not just a charging cable, to ensure recognition.
  • Troubleshooting:
    • Format/Reboot: For drive-related issues (full memory, messy file names, large file size, damaged files), formatting the device often works. For product malfunction (not turning on, indicator light not responding, always lit red), rebooting the device often works. Always back up files before formatting or rebooting.
    • Not Recording/Not Turning On: Check power and memory. Ensure correct operation. Format or reboot if needed. Contact support for free replacement if the issue persists. If unused for a long time, charge it.
    • Indicator Light Not Responding/Always Lit: Wrong operation or software damage. Follow instruction video to reboot or contact support.
    • Not Recognized by Computer: Use original USB cable. Check if it's a data cable, not just charging. Some tools are EXE format and may not be supported by Mac; find transformation software. Check "Computer-Organize-Properties-Device Manager-Disk drive/Universal Serial Bus Controller" and send a screenshot to support.
    • Complicated Operation: Refer to video instructions or contact support.
    • Voice Activated Recording Not Working: Confirm correct operation. Adjust VOR sensitivity parameter in the "FACTORY" file (0-7 level; lower number for higher sensitivity, higher number for lower sensitivity). Default is 3. Record at a certain distance and sound level (over 60db). Reboot the device.
    • Not Charging/Charging Too Hot: Use original USB cable. Check if the cable is damaged. Ensure charger output is 500mA-1000mA or 5V. Avoid charging for over 10 hours. Turn off the device before charging.
    • Recordings Not Playing on Computer: Use WAV-format supported media player (Windows Media Player or VLC Media Player). Windows 10 GROOVE player is not compatible.
    • Poor Recording Quality: Record in quiet environments, place the recorder stably, avoid friction. Adjust microphone sensitivity (GAIN) in the "FACTORY" txt file. Use high-quality earphones for listening.
  • General Precautions: Turn off the device before charging or connecting to a computer. Always turn off the device after recording to save files and prevent data loss. Use the original white USB cable. Regularly back up files to prevent loss.
  • Missing Parts/Defective Device: Contact support for a new replacement or full refund. No need to return.
  • Digital Manual/Tools: Contact support for download links and instructions.
  • Customer Service: Gurantee 100% satisfactory customer service. Contact ymkeji@hotmail.com for any problems.
