ALL SOLID STATE CONTROLLERS EXCEPT ZZ CONTROLLER
Note: Troubleshooting is based on a properly programmed Controller.
SYMPTON CAUSE REMEDY
Oven not heating, Fan not
operating
Oven not plugged into an
operating power source
Blown fuse
POWER Switch not in the
COOK position
Oven Door not closed
Cam not activating Door Switch
Plug oven into a power source
with the proper rating.
Replace fuse.
Turn POWER Switch to the
COOK position.
Close Oven Door completely.
Check for proper Door Switch
operation.
POWER Switch is in the ON
position but Oven not heating,
Blower not operating
Defective POWER Switch
Defective Controller
Defective Relay Interface Board
Defective Transformer
Check and replace POWER
Switch.
Replace Controller.
Replace Relay Interface Board.
Check input and out voltage
of Step-Down Transformer.
Replace if input voltage present
but no output voltage.
Blower operating but Oven
not heating
Defective Contactor
Defective Elements
Check for voltage at both
the input and output side of
Contactor. If present at input but
not present at output, replace
Contactor.
Replace Elements.
Oven does not heat to
selected temperature level
Defective Heater Element
Defective Contactor
Defective RTD Probe
Defective Relay Interface Board
Replace Element assembly.
Replace Contactor.
Replace RTD Probe.
Replace Relay Interface Board.
FAN Switch does not change
blower speed
Defective FAN Switch
Defective Motor
Replace FAN Switch.
Replace lower Motor.
Oven temperature continues
to rise above selected
temperature
Defective RTD Probe
Defective Relay Interface Board
Replace RTD Probe.
Replace Relay Interface Board.
