ConnectingcablestoJunctionBox.
1. Locate a position for the junctionbox beneath the dashboard on the
passenger's side of the vehicle or on the center side post between the
frontseats.
It must be protected from dirt and moisture and must be afforded
adequate space for cooling. There must be sufficient space to allow fo
r
connectionofallcabling.
2. DO NOT
mount the junction box at this stage. First connect the
Microphone, PTT, Speaker, Power cable and Cradle Cable to their
corresponding connections on the Junction Box as indicated in Diagram
below.

3.Afterconnectingthepowercable'sconnectortotheJunctionBox,
cut in half the red wire attached to the fuse housing supplied. Cut the
long red power lead to the desired length and connect (crimp) it to the
oneendofthewiretothefusehousing.
4. Connect the ot
her end of the wire from the red fuse housing to the
positive(+)sideoftheignition.Thefusehousingcanbesecuredinplace
by using a plastic tie or screw through the hole in the fuse's plastic
housing
5.Mountthejunctionboxinplaceusingthe2mo
untingscrewssupplied.
Insertingandremovingthehandsetfromcradle
1.Remove the rubber protective cover from the connector receptacle
covering the micro USB connector on the left side of the handset
(handsetfacingyou)andalignthemicroUSBconnectorattheendonthe
onecable from the back of the cradle and insert theconnector intothe
handsetwithth
ecablefacingDOWN.
2. Remove the rubber protective cover from the connector receptacle
covering the audio connector on the right side of the handset (handset
facingyou)andalignthepinconnectorattheendoftheothercablefrom
thebackofthecradleandinserttheco
nnectorintothehandsetwiththe
cablefacingUP.
