Information
The following functions can be programmed to correspond with
the rest position:
• Needle position (down/up) and sewing-foot position (down/up)
when stop in seam
• Sewing-foot position (up/down) after end of seam

Sewing process Operation
Before sewing start
Starting position • Pedal in resting position
The machine is at rest
The needle is up
The sewing feet are down
Position material at
seam start
• Move pedal back halfway
The sewing feet lift
• Push the material to the needle
Sewing • Press the pedal forward and hold
The machine then continues to sew with the
speed determined by the pedal
