Batteries
Replacing the batteries
Remove the cover of the battery compartment on the bottom of the scale.
Take out the old batteries and and replace with 2 new ones, ensuring that they
are positioned according to the correct polarities +/-.
Fix the back cover back on top of the battery compartment.
When discarding of old unwanted batteries, it is important to follow local
recycling guidelines to ensure they are disposed of safely and responsibly.
Using the Scale
Switch On
To switch on the scale press the “ON/TARE button.
To Weigh
1. Place the scale on a at surface and place the bowl on top of the platform.
2. Press the “ON/TARE” button to switch it on.
3. You can start to weigh when the display shows “0”.
To Change Units
To change the unit of measurement press the “UNIT” button. Choose between
grams (g), pounds and ounces (lb.oz), millilitres (ml) and uid ounces (.oz).
Tare Function – Add and Weigh
The tare function is useful to calculate the weight of ingredients that cannot
be put directly onto the platform, for example our or liquids that require a
container to hold them before being weighed.
