4.6 HDD
RemovingHDD
CAUTION: Do not presson the topor bottomof the drive.
Applying suchpressurecan either corrupt the data in the drive or
damage the drive.
RemoveHDD (hard disk drive) according to the following proceduresandFigures 4-5
and 4-6.
1. Disconnect HDD cable from CN1700 on systemboard.
2. RemoveHDD packwith cable together, by pulling the tapeon HDD.

NOTE: Do not disassembletheHDD packwhenit is working normally. Disassemble
or replacethe HDD packonly if it fails.
3. Place HDD pack on flat surface (such asa desk), andreleasefrom two sidesfor
removing the HDD Bumper.
4. DisconnectHDD cablefrom HDD.
