2.4.2 Procedure 2 Diagnostic Test Program Execution Check
Perform the test program for maintenance to determine the cause. Refer to Chapter 3, Tests
and Diagnostic, for more information on how to perform the tests.
If any error is detected during the tests, go to Procedure 3.
2.4.3 Procedure3 Replacement Check
Perform the trouble shooting procedure for the device which doesn’t pass the test program.
Refer to 2.5 USB Troubleshooting or later for details.
If the system board is faulty and replacement is needed, disassemble the computer following
the steps described in Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures. When replacing, please note the
followings.
NOTE: Before exchanging a system board, write down the DMI information on TOP
Menu of the test program. After the exchange, register the DMI information
to the new system board according to Chapter 3.
At that time, update the BIOS and EC/KBC to the latest ones.
