2.8.3 Procedure 3 Replacement Check
NOTE: Exchange the system board first as the Touch pad is installed with double-
sided tape and it is impossible to reuse.
Check 1 System board may be faulty. Replace it with a new one following the instructions
in Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures. If the problem still occurs, perform Check
2.
Check 2 Touch Pad or the cable(s) may be faulty. Replace them with new ones one by one
following the steps in Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures.
