2. Raise the telescopic
aerial and extend it
out.
The telescopic aerial
is not turnable. Turning the
telescopic aerial will da-
mage the aerial mounting
point.
For the reception of AM
transmissions, there is an
inbuilt reception antenna.
When receiving, turn the
appliance as a whole unit
until you receive the best
reception.
3. Switch the radio on with
the ON/OFF switch .
The ON/OFF display
colours itself green.
The volume level can be
adjusted by turning the
ON/OFF switch .
4. Select the reception
range (AM/FM) with the
band width selector .
5. Calibrate the desired ra-
dio station by turning
the tuner controller .
Should the desired radio
station be received with full
strength, the signal strength
display lights up .
If so wished,headphones
can be connected to the
radio with a 3,5 mm jack-
plug.
Warning: To avoid hea-
ring damage, do not set the
volume level too high when
using headphones.
