THE EARTHLITE VORTEX PORTABLE MASSAGE CHAIR
Congratulations on the purchase of your new Earthlite Vortex Portable Massage Chair.
With proper care, your chair should provide many years of healing.
IMPORTANT
• Beware of pinch points when setting up and breaking down
the chair.
• Make sure that the seat, armrest, and headrest are securely
fastened before seating your client.
• while the Vortex is exceptionally strong and stable, it is not
designed for use for clients who weight over 300 lbs.
• Do not use Armorall
®
or similar protectants, as they may
damage your upholstery.
• Avoid storing your chair in extreme temperature and humid
environments, such as car trunks. We recommend the use
of a carry case for storage.
SET UP AND ADJUSTMENT
• Remove chair from box and/or carry case.
• Unhook elastic strap from latchpoint under seat.
• Unfold front legs to open chair.
• Lift seat and place into one of three seat adjustment
positions, as appropriate.
• Release headrest locking arm and unfold headrest. Adjust
the headrest height and angle for maximum comfort. Lock
by pushing down on the locking arm.
• Lift armrest and firmly place armrest locking arm into one
of three armrest adjustment positions.
• Loosen chest support knob to adjust height of chest pad,
as needed. Retighten knob.
• Adjust arm, seat, and headrest positions, as necessary.
BREAKDOWN AND STORAGE
• Lift armrest and lower into down position.
• Release headrest, lower, and relock.
• Release seat from adjustment bracket and fold seat down
against knee pad.
• Slide front legs to closed position.
• Re-attach elastic strap into latchpoint under seat or store
in carry case if one has been purchased.
