The E82/E83 UPS is equipped with a USB port, a REPO port, two DB-9
communication ports, and an X-Slot communication bay (see Figure 35).
Two parallel ports are available for future use.
Either the USB port or the RS-232 DB-9 communication port may be
used to monitor the UPS; however, they cannot operate simultaneously.
The service DB-9 port is used only to upgrade the firmware.
The X-Slot communication bay can accommodate any X-Slot card and
can operate simultaneously with the USB port or RS-232 communication
port.
