16. Hardwire the load to the parallel tie cabinet (see Figure 26).
17. Wire the maintenance bypass contacts and terminate to the maintenance bypass wires in the parallel tie
cabinet (see Figure 24).
Connect the black and the red wires from the terminal block on the Tie Cabinet to TB2 on the UPS.
NOTE The maintenance bypass contacts are normally-open. To ensure proper bypass
operation, DO NOT use the blue wire (it is normally-closed).
18. Replace the UPS wiring access cover and conduit landing plate.
19. Repeat Step 13 through Step 18 for each UPS.
