8. Connect the positive, negative, and ground power wiring from the IBC–SW to the UPS cabinet external
battery input and ground terminals. Refer to the applicable Eaton 93PM UPS Installation and Operation
manual listed in paragraph 1.7, for UPS cabinet termination requirements.
9. If installing more than one IBC–SW, repeat Steps 2 through 8 for each IBC–SW, and then proceed to
paragraph 4.4; otherwise, proceed to paragraph 4.4.
NOTE Route the battery wiring between the UPS and subsequent IBC–SWs through the
bottom of the adjacent IBC–SW.
NOTE The internal battery string is to be connected by an authorized Eaton Customer
Service Engineer at system startup.
