The 93PR UPS module is hot swappable, but to perform this process, some definite procedures must be
complied with. When performing the UPS modules adding, reducing and changing online, the operating
instructions must be strictly followed.
Adding the UPS Module
Online
1. Select a slot in the UPS that has not been installed with UPM for installation, only one UPM can be in-
stalled at a time, after the UPM installation is completed, the next UPM can be installed;
NOTE

When installing the UPM for the first time, before inserting the module, check the wiring of the UPS unit to
ensure that the utility power has been input to the UPS unit.

To prevent safety accidents caused by dumping, please install UPM in order from bottom to top;

UPM is too heavy, and it is recommended to use a lifting platform for operation during installation.
WARNING
The cover must be installed if the slot is not inserted in the UPM, otherwise it will cause hot air to flow back.
2. Remove the 4 screws ) on the cover and remove the cover.

Please pay attention not to remove the screws

3. Take the UPS module out of the packing box; Check whether the lock on the front of the module is open,
if it is locked, please turn it to the open state, lift the module, insert it into the slot and push it (Figure
6-48);
4. Use appropriate force to insert the UPM into the slot at a uniform speed to ensure that the module is
inserted into position.
5. Install UPM screws

6. Push the lock on the front panel of the module to the locked state“ ” (see Figure 6-7).
7. Follow steps 2-6 and insert other UPMs in the same way.
8. If you add a UPS module in the utility power mode, the new added module will enter the parallel sys-
tem automatically. If you add a UPS module in the battery mode, the new added module will not build a
power supply and enter the parallel system until you have completed the above four steps and press the
ESC key on the LCD panel the cold start button.
9. UPM installation is complete.
