2. Connect the cables to the appropriate location.
3. Route and tie the cable(s) out of the way.
In a UPS connected to utility power, X-Slot cards remain powered on even if the input breaker is
off.

3.3.3 (Optional) Connecting the Control Wiring for Shunt Trip
When installing Remote Emergency Power-Off (REPO) control wiring for shunt trip to the MBC
interface terminals, conduit must be installed between the UPS cabinet or device and the MBC.
Install the control wiring in separate conduit from the power wiring.
