Assembly
1. Position the input shaft in a bench press with the front
end facing up.
2. Install the front bearing cone using the special tool EEA-
17004.
NOTE: If needed, heat the bearing to 120°C to
facilitate the installation
3. Install a new oil ba󰀪e (1) inside the 5th gear synchronizer
cone (2).
4. Install the 5th gear synchronizer cone in the input shaft,
with the cone side facing out.
