Transmission Air Supply
For optimal performance, the transmission requires a nominal air supply oper-
ating range between 90 psi (620 kPA) and 130 psi (896 kPA). Air supply outside
this range can result in degraded or complete loss of transmission engagement
and shift capabilities.
CAUTION: Vehicle air quality is important for transmission system operation.
Failure to follow the vehicle air system maintenance requirements may result in
transmission damage; this voids the transmission warranty. Refer to OEM
guidelines for vehicle air and filter system maintenance.
