Main Shaft and Countershaft Removal | Removal TRSM0950
21. Install a magnet onto Main Shaft Key to ensure the key
stays in place during Main Shaft Removal and Installa
-
tion.
22. Hold Rail C Sliding Clutch against Secondary Driven
Gear and lift Main Shaft from Primary Drive Gear.
CAUTION: Main Shaft weighs approximately 35 lbs.
Keep fingers clear of pinch point between Main Shaft
and other surfaces. Dropping Main Shaft could result
in component damage and/or personal injury.
Note: Spring and Washer may remain attached to the
Main Shaft during removal.
23. Remove Wave Spring - Rear.
24. Remove Thrust Washer - Rear.
25. Remove Thrust Bearing - Rear.
