1. Place transmission with the rear section facing
up.
2. Install the 5th/reverse linked shift block.
3. Install the 5th/reverse linked shift block
retaining roll pin.
NOTE: Use a 4 mm diameter pin punch.
NOTE: Replace the roll pin by a new one.
4. Install the reverse light switch.
NOTE:
Apply
Eaton E680
or
Eaton E679
sealant to the switch threads.
5. Install the 5th speed gear thrust washer on the
mainshaft.
