Testing
Use an ohmmeter or multimeter to perform the following
tests:
1. Testing one switch at a time, attach ohmmeter leads to
switch terminal screws.
2. Check the switch for an open or closed condition as
specified in Table 3.
3. If a switch fails test, review its positioning. If positioned
correctly, review switch terminal and terminal block
connections. If all connections are correct, check
switch to make sure it actually opens and closes as its
arm changes position. Review switch cam for correct
position. Check cable wires to ensure continuity exists
within each wire.
