1.1.2 Two UPM UPS with an FI-UPM
The Power Xpert 9395P-900 Two UPM UPS (450–600 kVA) with one FI-UPM contains three sections (see
Figure 1-2):
l
an ISBM or an IOM section rated for a maximum of 900 kVA (to provide future upgradability)
l
a UPM section containing two UPMs each UPM rated for a maximum of 300 kVA for a total maximum of
600 kVA.
l
an FI-UPM section to provide N+1 redundancy for the system if the power requirements are less than the
two UPM rating (see paragraph 1.2.2). Adding it the FI-UPM provides upgradability to a maximum of 900
kVA for 480V models and 825 kVA for 415V/400V/380V models.
